Heyoooo! I was the girl who grew up having no idea how to handle my natural texture. I went through the frizz/electrocuted look, the bad haircuts where my hair looked like a Christmas tree, and even tried at home straightening perms because I was so over it. While I struggled to find a cut or products that worked, I always loved trying new hairstyles and figuring out ways to make my curls and hair look better.

I have a deep love for hair with texture and helping people embrace it. I help people understand their curls, give them a cut tailored to their texture and hair goals, while also providing education on products and application. My goal is to help you feel confident and fabulous! One of my favorite things to accentuate curls even more is with sun kissed highlights to really make them pop.

With over 12 years in the biz, I’m still obsessed with education! I’ve been trained in both Devacurl and Rëzo cutting and highlighting techniques. I love taking in person classes every year to stay up to date on new techniques and what’s trendy. The color line I use is ammonia and PPD free and I carry Innersense products that are plant based and highly concentrated.

When I’m not working my magic with scissors and color, you’ll find me enjoying life with my husband and our three super cute doggos! I thrive on traveling, trying new restaurants, and reading! I loooove meeting new people and getting to know them. If you like to travel, love dogs, reading, dancing, restaurants….you’re my people. I run my own business inside of Chroma Culture salon in Urbana. Chroma is a collective of women who all run their own businesses and have an emphasis on the community feel.
