FAQ: Get Ready For Your Appointment!

HOW SHOULD I PREP MY HAIR?

Please arrive with your hair clean or a day old, detangled, dry, fully down and styled curly the way you normally would. This allows me to see how you style your hair and how your curls lay in their natural state. All curly cuts are done on dry hair so it is vital to arrive like this to every appointment— not just the first one! I kindly ask that you refrain from clips, buns, ponytails or anything that will alter your curls.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Chroma Culture is located across the street from Giant. There is a parking lot located behind the building and you may park in any reserved spot, regardless of the numbers.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE?

Upon arriving, please wait in your car and text me that you are here. I will text you when to head inside. We do not have a receptionist and the waiting area is small so please wait in your car!

Policies

DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD TO BOOK?

A credit card on file is required to book your appointment but no deposit is necessary. I kindly request that you give 48 hour notice to cancel, reschedule or change your appointment. A fee of 50% will be charged in the event that there is less than 48 hour notice or no show. Arriving more than 15 mins late may result in the loss of appointment.

WHAT IF I NEED AN ADJUSTMENT?

It is important to me that you love your hair! In the event of needing an adjustment to your hair cut or color, please reach out no later than 7 days after your appointment. I will be happy to discuss options for an adjustment.

We have snacks, drinks and wifi. Feel free to bring your laptop and work during your appt. AirPods are welcome and I have a free library so grab a book to bring home and donate one from your collection as well if you’d like!
